----------------------------------------------------

This is one of the toughest trails in the Sierra Nevada. This one is for experienced drivers in well-set-up rigs who are willing to spend 2 or 3 days on the trail. The scenery and the fishing along the way is spectacular, and the trip is an unforgettable adventure.

The trail begins near Courtright Reservoir. Follow McKinley Grove road to Courtright Road, turn left. Cross the dam and stay on the road to the sign for the Dusy-Ershim OHV route.

Several campsites and campgrounds are along the way. Dispersed camping is available, but camps must be more than 100 feet from water or meadows. Campfire permits are required.
