Land Cruiser E-locker Regearing the Land Cruiser Electric Locker
Once I made the decision to swap a solid front axle onto my 2001 Tacoma, I knew I wanted a selectable locker. For this project I wanted something with a little more 'yota in it. I chose the high pinion electric locker from the front of a full size FZJ80 Land Cruiser. Turn Signal Relocation Toyota Tech: Tacoma Turn Signal Relocation
If you want to trim away some of the Tacoma's front bumper for additional clearance, or add an aftermarket bumper, the front turn signals will need to be relocated. Moving them to the side marker lens is a simple and quick solution. Included are part numbers and some detailed photos. This modification replaces the bulb socket and adds another filament so the existing parking light housing will also hold the turn signal.

Tacoma Speedometer Recalibration Speedometer Recalibration
After adding larger tires or lower gears, the Dakota Digital Universal Signal Interface provides a way to recalibrate your Toyota's speedometer. The value in using this unit is its ability to allow for future changes. The speedometer corrections are accomplished by moving dip switches based on some simple calculations and the values in their table, so the unit will not become obsolete by a new tire size.
