I will be using Toyota truck axles, a 1985 vintage up front and 1987 wide track
vintage out back. Both are stuffed with V6 third members spinning Toyota OEM 4.11 gears. The front
locks with an ARB air locker and is equipped with All Pro chromoly inner axles and Super Axles from
Long's. The rear holds a Dewco spool and a Front Range Off Road full floater kit with Toyota
Supra disc brakes and FJ80 drive plates.

Up front, I'll be running All Pro crossover steering but using a set of
Alumaflex draglink and tierod pieces from Toy's by Troy. To the crossover, I am adding a
hydro assist setup using a 6" stroke x 1.5" bore single ended ram. The assist requires
a ram, fittings and hoses, and mounts to attach the ram to the axle housing and tierod.
I am using a Saginaw type AGR pump and tapped the steering box 1/4" NPT as shown here.

The photos above show the hydro ram mounted to the front axle and
the attached hydraulic lines. A kit is available from Rockstomper or pieces can be
pruchased separately from places like Surplus Center or Northern Hydraulic. Mount tabs
were all constructed from 1/4" plate stock.
Complete rear axle assembly
Lower shock mounts and brake lines
Track bar mount on top of housing
The rear axle is still setup much like it was when it was on
my truck. The lower shock mounts have been moved to the rear of the axle housing.
I will still be using the Mazda hybrid leaf packs and a two-link track bar.
