Front Range Off Road Fabrication announces the release of their new Custom Axle Housing

Front Range Off Road Fabrication is now offering custom 8" axle housings. These are built from 3.5" OD DOM tube, with a wall thickness of .375" (compared to stock of about .220"). The third member flange is 1/2" thick (compared to stock, about .360"). The front "cover" is 1/4" thick, so no additional diff armor is necessary. Front Range Off Road Fabrication supplies new, installed 8 mm studs with nuts and lock washers, as well as 2 8mm bolts for the lower holes for ease in draining the differential. Front Range Off Road Fabrication also supplies a new magnetized Toyota fill plug. There is a tapped hole in the top of the housing to install the supplied breather.

These housings come with custom inner axle shafts and the above mentioned pieces, as well as steering stops made from 1" solid steel. This is NOT a complete axle. Front Range Off Road Fabrication provides the housing and inner axles, however the third member, birfields, knuckles, brakes, hubs, and steering must be sourced from a Toyota solid front axle. Some or all of these components can be sourced from Front Range Off Road Fabrication at an additional cost. These housings will accept any gear ratio, locker, 4cyl, V6, or high pinion third members.

Axle housings are built to customer's specifications and the following must be inidicated upon ordering:

• Axle width
• Pinion angle
• Caster angle
• Driver or Passenger side diff
• Offset for diff from center
• Third member to be used (electric or standard)
• Spring perch width, center to center (for leaf springs)
• Width of springs used (for leaf springs)
• Spring perches (loose, welded on, none)
