Pismo Dunes - December 19-20, 1997

Here's the gang hanging out at the creek

Here Eric show us just what he can do with his new Downey headers.

Eric is testing out his new Alcan Springs.

Even with the high spring rate he order, the can really flex!! Nice travel!!

The gang once again...this time perched on the side of a steep dune.

Ken scurries up the hill. Man, I've never see a truck with more wax on the paint (you'll never live it down Ken :-)

Chris diggin in and getting dirty as he climbs the dune.

This little Toy was Awesome to watch! It was especially fun to watch the passenger in the back fly up in the air with the truck as the little pickup left the earth! ;-)

    Posing for a picture..

Here I'm diggin' in as I attempt to make it up on unpacked sand.....I didn't make it. :-)

This was a BLAST!! All a sudden the rear end had a mind of it's own!

Getting twisted up to check articulation...

    More of the same...

Me 'n' Eric, just playing in a small bowl.

    Different angle of above pic.

    Like a Duck to water....well...maybe not a duck....perhaps a brick?

    Playing in the stream...

The first time I actually got to use my differential breathers

During the really high tides the sand it cut away by the stream leaving a nice verticle wall of sand.

We had a great time going up and down it.

It was during one time I was going up that I lost the bead on the back right tire..

Perhaps 8lbs wasn't the optimal choice in air pressure for climbing sand walls. :-)
