I just had a TRD header added to my truck. I also ran
a 2.25 exhaust back to a stock muffler and 2.50 from
the muffler out. The truck runs great! I have 5th
again and I find myself running up to 75mph and
passing folks for no reason now. I'm running a
32x11.50 MT and you can't even tell they are under it.
I had the valves adjusted and I think they didn't get
everything right with some lines cause it will not
idle correctly. It almost wants to shut off. I have
checked all the lines and everything is in place! Is
this a vacum leak or some miss/off calibration due to
the new system I installed? Remarks,Comments requested?

Check the huge plastic air intake ducting and
associated rubber hoses that connect the air
filter box to the throttle body. A loose
clamp, detached hose or hole in this
ducting will cause a rough idle and sometimes
stalling.
A detached PCV valve hose or dislodged PCV
valve grommet could also cause a rough idle
as could an improperly installed valve cover
gasket, although the latter would also likely
cause a visible oil leak as well.

The four valve cover grommits (on the nuts that hold the cover on) could be
missing, also, and, the two half-moon grommits (on the front and back of the
valve cover) could also be missing or not installed correctly.
