Re: TOY: 4runner Automatic shift problems

Here is the angle of attack I'm taking:

1. Change fluids and service filer
2. Check Solenoid

How do I check it? Where is it located? Can I
salvage one froma 4runner with same transmission?
Opinions on cost from OEM Toyota Dealer?

The Toyota place gave me a estimate of 165$ a piece
for the selonoids. Where are they located? I'm going
to pull the pan and service the tranny to look for
metal shavings.
