RE: TOY: Tundra recall, 2001-2004 ball joints

THIS IS A SPECIAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN TO REPLACE LOWER BALL JOINTS ON SOME YEAR 
TUNDRAS,TACOMAS AND 4 RUNNERS. THE LAST I HEARD THEY WERE DOING IT BECAUSE 
OF 6 REPORTED INSTANCES WHERE EXCESSIVE WEAR WAS FOUND. TOYOTA IS COVERING 
THE COST IF IT MEETS THE CRITERIA. THE SSC WILL BE DONE IN STAGES TO AVOID 
PARTS SHORTAGES. YOU WILL REC. A LETTER FROM TOYOTA LETTING YOU KNOW WHEN IT 
WILL HAPPEN AND IT WILL ANSWER MOST OF YOUR ?'S
