TOY: Looking for seats for a 81 standard cab 4x4.

I went and bought seats from a 90's 4-runner from a junk yard. They in 
great shape but they are too thick. they push me into the steering wheel 
even with them all the way back.

Any suggestions on what kind of seats from a more modern vehicle will 
fit better?  My truck is a standard cab 81. So there's no room to move 
back any further.

Well I'm guessing you are trying to get away from the
bench seat so try measuring some Celica seats.  I have
seen them work with some modification.
