TOY: New 22RE
Okay, got the new engine in and it runs like a top. But, I'm having one of
the same issues that I had with my old motor. When I go to drive the engine
"bogs down" to the point that it just creeps along. I made sure it's not in
4 wheel drive, the rearend is ok, the tranny is ok, but it won't drive over
25 mph. The only thing that I didn't buy brand new was an EGR valve. Could
an EGR create such problems? Or am I looking at a drivetrain issue?
Thanks,
Bobby

Did you try a new fuel filter?

Yeah, I have a new fuel filter (I didn't change out the injectors though).
And I pulled the cat, but can't tell if it's plugged or not (how would you
check that?)

To check the catalitic converter, just shine a flashlight thru it, if no
light comes out the other side then it is in need of replacement
