Hi Rick,
It sure makes a bit of a difference from ye 'ole 22RE, huh? ;-)
Check out Bouncing-Betty...
here http://fly.hiwaay.net/~deesmith/skeletor.html

With the enlisted help from my "welding" neighbor we installed a 3.0L Toyota
V-6 engine into Bouncing-Betty, (a 1984 Toyota 4Runner). I could tell a BIG
difference from her 22R (with 364,xxx miles) to the 3.0L engine. :-)

Now the challenge is to keep a light foot on the accelerator pedal. ;-p
Enjoy your "more power" Toyota! Check out my 4WD links page for sites

I've purchased a number of products from DOA, namely, heads, valves,
throttle body, and cams. Had not the slightest problem with anything
though I did have the mods professionally installed. My only complaint
was the delay in delivery but that is the nature of the beast.

Hey all. I installed a lift in my 2000 Tacoma a couple of years ago. The
rear consists of deaver springs packs and Bilstein 8" shocks. I noticed a
few weeks ago that my driver's side rear is lower than the passenger side. I
measured it and it is about 1.5-2" lower. I checked the springs, no visible
cracks or shifted leaves. If the shock was bad, could that cause that much
of a drop? Anything else I should check? Thanks in advance!
