Re: TOY: Clutch Adjustment
sounds like a bad bearing
bearing should not be noisy at all, wether engaged
or not, and should only contact fingers when clutch is engaged
Any noise is likely the release bearing being worn or possibly
the little pilot bearing in the flywheel.
Intermittent contact will likely be warped fingers on the clutch
and possibly cause the excessive spinning and premature failure
of the bearing. Its best to remove and replace all 3 if you
do it at all. You don't want to go back and do it again.
7years can be a long time for a clutch.
May want to have the flywheel resufaced as well.
happy new year
