TOY: 85 toyota for sale in wyoming at an auto auction - cheyenne
hey all,
just thought i would let you all know i went up to an auto auction in
cheyenne wyoming about 2 weeks ago to sell my old wrecked jeep, so in
exchange for towing my jeep up on the flatbed I drove another guys toyota
up there for him and it didnt sell then, anyway I just thought I would
pass on the info if any of you are interested, I think it was an '85, it
has the 22r and 5 speed tranny, regular cab blue body, minimal rust,
couple inches of lift. I drove it about 50 miles to get to cheyenne and
it runs great, the only thing that I know that it needs is a power
steering pump, the one on it works but it makes that "bad" sound, anyway
I know the guy only has $500 into it so I think if he gets an offer of
pretty much anything more than that he will probably take it (but dont
quote me on that:-) anyhow, if anyone is in the area or planning to be in
the area here is the url for the auction house:
http://www.wyautoauction.com/
I know you can go in and check out the vehicles most any time and I think
they would take offers even between auctions but I dont know for sure, the
Nov 22nd auction was my first time there. I believe the next actual
auction is going to be at the beginning of Jan due to christmas and all,
just an fyi if anyone is looking for an older toy or a parts rig.
later,
steve
oh, also anyone know where I might find a set of bucket seats to replace
the bench in my 89 toyota extra cab? the interior is blue and I would
prefer to use the same color but other colors may be acceptable if they
are in decent shape, also does anyone know if the mounts will fit the same
holes as are used on the bench seats? or have any advice on suitable
swaps? much appreciated and sorry for the lenght of this post!
