TOY: Why Won't My Tacoma Start?!

I am having a bit of a problem with my 96 tacoma and i rather fix it myself 
than take it to a dealership. I made a hard right turn today, and the 
battery came loose. It managed to undo the hose to the left of it and all of 
a sudden my truck wouldn't start. To this moment it still won't start since 
re-attaching the hose. Does anyone know what i can do? I am just at a loss 
for words!!
