TOY: Timing marks 22RE

Ok well I figured out some of my valve problem.. I took the Distributor cap
off and although atr a glance it looked as though the rotor was pointing to
number one at TDC,Its was just a bit forward of it. So I'm out a tooth.. I
tried to adjust it tonight and now it's just a little behind TDC. The crank
is at the zero mark...
And the mark on the Cam sprocket is pointing at 12 o'clock.. where am I
going wrong.. this is so simple yet so frustrating! Any input is good
input!!!!
                          Thanks, J.Stocks

I put in 80w90. Really, it doesn't shift too bad when it's warm out. But
once the temp goes below 30 deg and the tranny sits for a while, it can be
kinda rough.

Interestingly, I HAVE noticed that the shifting has been getting slightly
better lately, but maybe that's because it's warmer outside now. (Crazy
Tennessee weather! It was snowing last week. Now it's 70 deg outside.)

Redline was going to be my first choice, but I live in Cleveland, Tn
And the nearest dealer is in Nashville (We used to have a dealer in
Cleveland, and they're still listed as a dealer, but they cancelled
their dealership because they weren't making any money), and it would
have cost me about $80 to get 4 quarts shipped to me.

I'll call NAPA. Maybe they can help me out. And if not, I'll try to
order a 5 gal pennzoil drum.

Thanks man!

Not to mention Summit is in Ohio. So shipping can't be that much within
Ohio. (It's only 200 miles across the whole state.) Not sure but try Jeg's
too. They're in Columbus.
