Could someone send me a pic or tell me where the hell I'm supposed to mount
the VSV (Vacuum Switching Valve) on my 86' 22RE.. I have it mounted to my
valve cover right now because I can't remember where the hell it's supposed
to go. Thanks,JS

this has recently been discussed. Could be running too rich or lean, or
plugged cat, but some dim glowing in pitch black is normal.

Well my truck has no cat at the moment so that rules that out.. my valves
are still not set up properly so Im sure that is affecting my timing ... I
hope to hit it with a timing light this weekend and have someone have a look
at the valve train for me.. I also was told to test the EGR system...
anything else I should check out that anyone can think of?.
