Manual locking hubs are pretty easy... it is about the first thing I messed
with when I got my truck.
It is difficult to figure out how the spring goes on if you don't have a
good picture though.
There are hub rebuilding direction on 4x4Wire somewhere that would probably
help you quite a bit.

Someone decided to lock my hubs for me on my 87 pickup before I went on a

of about 700 miles. Now I'm noticing a grinding/squeaking/squealing noise

haven't rebuilt one of these before so some advice would be appreciated. Is
