TOY: Heater in 1990 4runner
I am not getting much heat out of the dash vents on my truck. It isn't in
the cooling system/thermostat section as I had it checked out so must be in
the firewall/dash area.
How hard is it to remove the dash to check out the air duct entry sections
to see if the linkages for blending the hot/cold air are out of whack - or
could it be something else?

Did they check your heater core as well? I am pretty sure the cooling
system can still operate properly with a clogged heater core...
Also, you said dash vents specifically... does that mean that you ARE
getting heat from the floor vents?

Are you getting air... just not warm air? Or are you getting warm air
elsewhere, just not from the dash vents.

Hi Mike,
If you are good with jig-saw puzzles then the R&R of the 1990 Toyota dash
should be a breeze. :-) It is not that difficult, just Very time consuming.
Plan on all afternoon (depending how good you are with puzzles)
Just take your time and label all of the screws and bolts.
