TOY: Fuel delivery question

Well, I'm at a loss again on my fuel problems. I've a 22RE in a 94 Hilux
with 108K miles (engine was replaced at 45K miles.) It studders simular to
the way everyone has described the dirty TPS problem. That didn't fix it.
So decided to check the fuel pressure and see if the pump was bad. (I've
already changed the filter and it didn't help.) It also won't start hot,
only cold. (Which tell me that the cold start injector is working.) When
it's hot it will bump start and a shot of starting fluid in the intake
plenum will get it going. The timing has been checked and it's dead on
factory setting and changing it slightly didn't help. And it's getting
crappy mileage (about 10-12 should be about 15-16 with the 31" tires.)

It also seems to be wanting more fuel on the highway. It takes forever to
get to highway speed and has difficulty going up hills in any gear. At
times it tops out at 55-60 mph on the highway. I've checked the spark at
it's good.

I had the TPS off and it changed smoothly throughout the range from a low
resistance to right around 5K ohms with no erratic behaviour.

When checking the fuel pressure, we (tired) accidently checked the return
pressure, so we don't have a good pressure. Where and how is a good place
to check that. Is there special fitting required? I think I found a place,
but didn't have anything to fit.

The things I've been considering looking at are: injectors, fuel pump, and
MAP sensor. Anyone got any other ideas? I'm a little tight on cash, so I'm
trying to figure out the best way to minimize replacing things that aren't
bad.
