I am not sure if I have taken recent pics...

These are my latest:
http://molmed.umassmed.edu/~kdb/supraswap/exhaust1.jpg
http://molmed.umassmed.edu/~kdb/supraswap/exhaust2.jpg
http://molmed.umassmed.edu/~kdb/supraswap/exhaust3.jpg
http://molmed.umassmed.edu/~kdb/supraswap/grill1.jpg

Since these pics were taken, I have finished welding up the Stainless 3"
Exhaust. I have put on a modified BudBuilt crossmember which was
extended to protect the exhaust. I have also planned on how to do the
air->filter->afm->turbo routing. I have to buy a special 3" 90 degree
elbow called a Cobra Elbow from Innovative Turbo. I have to cut some of
my intercooler box. The air filter will be right in front of the
intercooler. So, I just have to spend time doing it but you know how
things are...things keep coming up, like buying this Lexus...or cleaning
the pool for the summer :-)

Hell no! :-)

It will be my daily driver so I can dedicate the 4Runner for off-road
use...

Wrong verb there. I already bought the elbow...and just waiting to

Once my gas guage reaches 3/4 tank it starts to fluctuate wildly until it
eventually reads empty. This is on an 87 pickup, 22R with mechanical pump.
My guess is the float/sending unit has gone bad. What do the experts think?
If that indeed is the problem, is it possible to change it out without
dropping the tank? It has a 3" body lift so I a little room to work.
TIA,
Shaun

Yep, sending unit. Same thing happened on my 87. I don't think you'll be
able to get it out without dropping the tank. It's a dealer only item,
they'll need the VIN to get you the right one.
