Sorry, I should have been more clear...
...unless your current shaft has some pretty bad u-joints, or is not
functioning properly, as in with a bad center bearing.
A "properly functioning" two piece shaft should not cause bad vibration
before driveline angles would. Unless of course, the change in angles on
the one-piece alleviated the problem... which could still be marked off as
driveline angles.

I totally disagree. The two piece shafts don't take kindly to lifting. The
rubber in the carrier bearing goes south and the shaft jumps all over the
place when accelerating. I fought this problem for a year until I finally
did something about it, and I believe Joe M did the same with his -
