TOY: 87 vs. 90 22RE - differences? swap Q's..

Well, I figured it would happen some time - just not "yet". On the way to
work this morning, the 22RE in my daily driver '87 4Runner finally started
making some real noise - and it doesn't sound like it is gonna make it home.

Fortunately, I still have not sold the 22RE from my '90 trail truck I have
been parting out, so I guess I will be ok and can just use it to swap into
the 4Runner.

I guess I will have to do the swap this weekend, so I would rather have
everything I need on hand.

Does anyone have any tips on ways to make this fast and easy? Should I swap
everything, or just pull the EFI intake off both and yank the block off, and
then bolt it back up? I guess I need the EFI intake gaskets?

Also, I have an LCE header on my '90 truck, but the O2 bung is down near the
cat, whereas the '87 O2 is up on the manifold.... Is it possible to extend
the wires for the O2 sensor to be able to re-use my nice LCE header, or
should I forget about it? Would I be able to swap the EFI harness from my
90 truck and make that work?

I also have a spare 22RE head with a mid-range cam installed in it I got
from a friend. Should I leave well enough alone on the '90 motor that I
KNOW is running good, or should I swap heads at this time too for a little
more "uumph"?

Any tips, suggestions, or comments are welcome :-)
