RE: TOY: automatic tire deflators

I have given this some thought...

...and I imagine this has already been done by someone.

Anyway, I was thinking I could run some type of piping near the frame rails
of the truck... like the same stuff they use to route airlines through a
large building. Maybe just some kind of conduit. It wouldn't have to be
real heavy duty for only 30+/- lbs. That way you could just have outlets at
the wheel well for each tire... connect a hose to the outlet and the stem
with around 3ft of hose. (this would be easier for me because of the little
tool box behind my seats... the hoses would fit perfect lengthwise.) Then
there would be another outlet somewhere else on the truck where you could
plug in to inflate or deflate the tires.

Of course... this then stemmed into an idea where I could do that and just
plug it into onboard air (with heavier duty piping) and that way I have a
quick inflate/deflate system and five outlets around the truck with air.

If you had low air in one tire... you could just grab one section of hose
(~3ft) and plug it into the quick disconnect and the stem... with onboard
air this would be a snap.

I just thought about the extra lbs of pressure for the air that was
inflating from a compressor... so I guess either way you would need a good
strong pipe.

I like the one I made. It is a more bulky, but it's
fast, ensures the same pressure from side to side if
you have lockers and can also be used to refill. I
think Roger Brown has the same set up and pics on his
site? I spent around $20 in parts and put it together
in a few mins.
