TOY: Clunking Noise

I am soliciting listers' wisdom with regards to an unusual clunking noise 
emanating from the front end of my truck. It's quite apparent when the wheel 
is turned and is more pronounced when backing up.  When backing up, it's 
loud as if the prop shaft had come off and hitting something.  Also, going 
straight I've noticed that the steering wheel has a slight vibration that 
wasn't there before.  My truck is a stock '94 Xcab V6 4x4.
