I did have a discussion on another list about how in a pure crawler
increasing the scrub radius can have a positive impact on finding
traction. Increased scrub combined with normal or increased castor will
shift the weight on the front tires from one side to the other as the
tires are turned. This is why you sometimes see ACRA folks sawing the
steering wheel back & forth, they're 'hunting' for front traction. I
still would not do this on a street driven truck.
