TOY: Sequoia Rear Brakes

OK

I know we mostly drive the Mini Trucks.

But I was at the Auto show on Sat and got a change to
take a closer look at the Sequoia Rear disks.

I think the current LC uses a 5 bolt pattern so its
not as adaptable to a min truck rear (6x5.5 bolt).

The Sequoia axle is too wide to use as is for my
needs.

What I was thinking was adapting the Tundara rear
disks to a mini truck full floater.

First problem -
It looks like a Tundra rear has a "drum" parking brake
contained within the bolt circle area.
Since its just a parking brake, the drum's "self
engerizing" capability combined with the space created
behing the semi floating axle flange might allow this
to be built in there.

Does anyone know what the Sequoia uses for a parking
brake?

The brake cable does enter the backing plate - hence
my thought that there was a mini drum brake inside.

Come to think of it - if that is the case it wont work
becuase a full floater rear wont have any room for the
drum.
