TOY: RE: axle swap questions-steering
i am going to go ahead and do a crossover settup... i will use a stock drag
link for my tie rod...
>>>>>> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The stock tie-rod is not up to the task of being used as a draglink. Jack
Alford tried this many, many years ago - gauranteed failure.
--------------------------------------------
also... has anyone made a crossover steering arm by flipping a stock arm and
putting it on top of the one attached to the drag link? i would probably cut
off the king pin and weld it... also would use longer bolts to mount it...
>>>>>> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please... If you are going to mess w/ steering, don't risk your life (and
the lives of others on the road). Flipping an arm and using longer bolts is
a sure way to get killed or kill someone. Call All-Pro, Aqualu, AOR, etc
and buy an arm that is engineered for this purpose... PLEASE!
