Hey I just repeated the information that I got from my local referee.  As to 
whether a toyota pickup is a truck or a car, I think the answer is obvious.  
There are ways to get around it, but the question was how to do a smog legal 
engine swap.  To do it legally you have take it to a referee and then he'll 
practically pick the thing apart to make sure that it has not been modified, 
and that everything on his little list is there.
