As far as I understand, the 350 is CA legal if it's from the same year or
newer, and the stock exhaust manifold has to come with it. I've been trying
to find a way to get legal headers, but I doubt that will happen.
But, sometimes it just depends on who smogs it for you. I had and 84
Camaro that we rebuilt, and in the process put a stock replacement intake
manifold on. When smog time came, it was failed because the manifold looked
too shiny.
If all goes good, please let us know. I'm contemplating a 350 swap for
about 8 months from now, and would like all the details. I guess that would
be a good piece for your web page.

The Supra is out??? : ( That was my #1 choice.
So has anyone done a 350 swap in CA on a Toyota and kept it smog legal?
Maybe I'll just use nitrous on my 22RE... : )
