The P.O. of my 4Runner gave me all his service
reciepts when I bought it from him. Fortunatly, he was
very consistent about changing the oil...
Unfortunatly, he only changed it every 10k miles as
per Toyota's recomendations. :-( Other than that, he
took very good care of it and a lot of the miles are
highway miles. It has 230K miles on it with no engine
problems at all, but the oil gets black right after I
put it in (like within a few hundred miles or so). Oil
consumption varies depending on what type of driving I
am doing, I haven't tracked it that closely. I now
change the oil & filter quite often, usually before
any major trip.
