  You are the man!!  This is what I'm talking about. This little daily
driver I just got is a 92 RE with 85,000 miles on it. I just did an oil
change last week end and installed a new Toyota filter.

  Are you telling me that you have 398,000 miles with no major motor work
(new timing set / head gasket) and you credit it to synth oil? If so I may
be converting the next time I change the oil. :o)
