Re: TOY: Toyota engine mount adapters?
I think the angle of the mounting surface and placement on the frame make it
impossible to fabricate a reliable adapter.
Cut and weld would be best as you have more control over placement.

Subject: TOY: Toyota engine mount adapters?
Hi folks -
is there a source for "engine mount" adapters?
Here is the situation:
My 1984 Toyota 4Runner engine bay still has the 22R engine mounts on the
frame.
The 3.0L Toyota engine awaiting installation into the 4Runner needs either
adapters
for the stock 22R engine mounts to work or I will need to cut the 22R engine
mounts
then weld the stock 3.0L engine mounts, (cut out of engine bay from '91 parts
truck),
onto the 4Runner's engine bay.
Any hints, tips, suggestions? TIA.
Happy Trails,
Dee
