I had a similar issue when I used to own a Jeep. Replaced most
everything and still had it. Finally found a group of people who said
that it was the spring packs shifting a bit when you turn the wheel.
Apparently pretty common on the older Jeeps and there isn't much you can
do to stop it short of greasing the leaves. Ignored it for another 3
years before I sold the Jeep, still with the sound and nothing bad having
happened so they may have been right. I sorta gave up after hearing that
and decided I'd wait until it broke to figure out what to fix.
