Also a lot less complexity in the solid front axle. Fewer parts to
break or get damaged, that parts that are common are bigger and stronger
in the solid axle. Just as an example, I've never had to align my solid
axle truck aside from when I've changed steering components. In the 5
years I've wheeled it I've had to replace one set of front spring
bushings due to wear.
