TOY: alternator

Last week I asked for help about my alternator.
As per suggestion.
I decided to change the brushes.
I tested the alternator before changing
the brushes at an auto parts store. It wasn't charging.
After replacing the brushes, it worked fine.
Put out 14 volts at all rpms.

Today it quit charging at low rpms again.

It is exhibiting the same signs as last
week.  Not charging but the idiot light goes
off above a certain rpm.  That rpm is steadily 
getting higher.  At first it would go off at 900 rpm
now the light goes off above 1200 rpm, and climbing 
daily.
 

It do not think it is the wiring because 
the alternator was not charging when I 
took it out of the truck.

I am at a loss.
