TOY: 1st Gen 4runner Thule rack

Just wanted to know how people installed their racks
out there?
I have 3 options:
1 
put the rack on the little drip rails on the
fiberglass rear end. 
2
Put both on the front part of the cab
3
Buy a artificial raingutter and drill holes in the top
to install it. 

I will be putting two pretty light bikes up there, and
that is it. I have talked to some that say the rear
drip rails will be fine, but others have said they
will crack, what have you guys & gals found?
