 you will need to R&R quite a few pieces of the dash to get to the radio.
If you are good with jig-saw puzzles then it should be a breeze!

>From *memory* first remove the bezel around the instrument cluster.
You will need to remove the lower valence, (part below the steering wheel
column).
I *think* you may need to remove the ashtray, and cup holder.
(don't quote me on that one).
Once you get the dash facial components removed there will be 4 hex-head screws
that hold the stock Toyota "Din-style" radio in place.

It should be clear as muddy water from there.  ;- )
