I have had it come on with my 96. What it is probably is the computer has sent an error code. And you just have to have the computer checked and reset. OR it could be maybe an air-flow obstruction. Do you have ANY air intake mods?? (like a deckplate mod??) If so thta may. I would say just go to a stealership and have them check the code. Hope this helps.
