TOY: Rear CV driveshaft Q

This is a followup to my question the other day about the 94 front 
driveshaft...

I know the 94 shaft has less travel than the earlier ones, but would I be 
able to install it without modification (except for lengthening) into the 
rear of my 90 truck?  I currently have about 4.5" to 5" of lift and dual 
cases....

Or, would I need to modify the double cardan joint for enough angle to work 
in the rear (where less angle is needed)?
