Depends on which trasfer you are talking about.  The first trasfer can have the
shifter
that comes out of the tranny or transfer.  For the rear transfer, that one has
to come out ot the top
of the transfer.

And Andrew is right about the EFI/CARB thingy, unless someone has been doing
some swapping.
