Hey Robert,
A few things to check:
Vacuum hose routing. Make sure the proper vacuum lines are connected to
the choke braker assembly and choke pulloff.
Fast idle linkage - If the truck has been sitting, this linkage
mechanism is probably all dirty. Give it a good blast with some carb.
cleaner and see if that frees it up.
