TOY: Idle/choke Question
Ok gang, Now that the truck is finally road worthy, and the winter is over
[figures...], i have one small question. The truck is an 87 22R 4x4. Upon
startup-after 2 strokes of the gas pedal in cold weather-the idle will
sometimes shoot to 3400RPM, but usually right around 1900. The odd part is
that the choke climbs the longer it runs[usually to 2200-2300], and you have
to keep tapping the gas [total of 3 or 4 times] before it settles down to
950-1000RPM. You can tap the gas once, and it will come down, but it
continues to climb until its warm.
This seems simple, im just not Carb-friendly ;-)
Thanks, all info appreciated.
