Subject: TOY: electric locker or air locker??
| for you that have these setups I have just a few questions....1st is which 1
| would be overall better?? 2nd is.....I know the air lockers are expensive
| but are the electrics???
Hi Jeremy F.,
==> I paid $1,588.87 (for the complete set-up) All parts are New-in-the-box
from Toyota of Dallas. [ this included shipping to North Alabama! ]
==> Thank you Scott Tate! :o )
The complete set-up included:
2- wiring sub-harness (one plugs into the electric motor / locker actuator)
The other sub-harness plugs into the dash and "Rear Diff lock" switch.
1- Rear Diff Lock switch (plugs into dash)
1- New Toyota rear axle housing.
1- Completely set-up 3rd member with electric locking differential.
1- Gasket set.
==> My vehicle is a '97 Tacoma 4WD with the 2.7L engine.
Hope this helps. :o )
==> Oh BTW,
I'm still trying to get the "time" to get this "goodie" installed. :-o
Check-out my progress, (or lack there of).
