I think you should have gone with OME springs for the rear. They are
designed very well. I dont know what their load carry capacity is
though. I have the HD version.
But, I have towed a Toyota Supra on a car trailer and the truck did just
fine. The rear didn't really sink that much. I have also put engines in
the back as well. But, the suspension is fairly soft for a 4Runner
weight and it is progressive. Meaning, it will only contact the overload
leaves when there is a bit of weight on the truck.
Oh, I would hate to see how stiff your truck is now! I remember the last
springs you had were stiff! I think you had the Nationals on at the
Ungathering 2 years ago.
