Is what you are getting similar to bump-steer? Does it pull hard in one
direction when you hit the brakes?
If this is the case, then your altered rods have screwed up the steering
geometry...
I don't know this for certain but i think if you measure bolt to bolt on the
torque rod and ball to ball on the drag link, you'll probably find they are
the same length... if you alter this, then the bars no longer stay parallel
during compression of the springs and you get some steering due to the flex
of the suspension.
