Along this thought train, the carbs that came on
Pintos and Vegas are Weber licensed copies of the DGV
series which is the common performance carb (not the
smog legal one) to put on a Yota. The Pinto carbs say
say "Motorcraft" on them. All of the tuning parts
interchange. I know this because I raped untold
numbers of Pinto carbs for their jets to use on my
dune buggy's DGV. 
Some of the Fiats, 124 Spiders & Otto Vu's for
example, come with a carb that is similar to but not
the same as a DGV.
BTW, if anyone stumbles onto some Otto Vu carbs, would
you let me know.
