With a 22R carbed, you can pull nearly all the emissions off of it for
"off-road" purposes. You will have to re-jet the carb, though. The jetting
will be way lean. I have no idea what kind of jets are in the Aisin carb or
where you could get them. They may be weber jets.... or they may not.
If you really wanted to, you could find a rebuilt weber from a fiat or some
other sort of foreign car with the same size engine as the Toy. Many of
them came stock with Webers. They sell them in nearly every parts store.
They sell for way less than a new weber. You can buy the adapter plates
from anyone who sells the webers. I have been toying with this idea. It is
way easier to get Autozone or Discount to warranty it than it is to get
Weber to warranty it.
