Thanks, but it turns out, the wheel cylinder was leaking... I would have
figured it out sooner if I would have actually smelled the stuff... it was
relatively scentless which is a big contrast to gear oil.
I know I should have noticed low fluid in the reservoir but it wasn't even
to the low mark yet, and it had a nice coating of grime on it...

Replacing the seals is relatively easy, but in order to do the outer seal
you'll have to press the bearings off, replace the seal, then press the
bearings back on.
