TOY: Engine Swap/Differential
The new engine is in and running with no leaks or grinding noises...
everything looks good so far.
There is also a new differential residing in the front 3rd Member housing.
The old one turned out to be a 3.90 and the back is a 4.10. So, that wasn't
the reason it was grinding, but it explains why it went out when I hit dry
pavement.
Thanks CAZ for the greasing tip for the injectors... that did the trick it
seems.
...also, thank you Scott Muir, because I used your shortcut directions from
a couple months ago to swap the diff.
So far, I have nothing but good things to say about the Engine Factory,
where I got the motor... their customer service is superb and their motor is
running strong so far. I only point this out again since, when I was
looking no one could give a solid word about any of the engine re-builders
out there...
Have a good one...
