closest thing i saw was kyosho made a 2nd gen 4runner body. but it wasnt lexan, but
rather hard plastic body that had all sorts of detail. i saw it over 10 years ago or so.
it was like $80 for the body which included chrome parts. since then, nothing.
parma makes 3rd party lexan bodies. try emailing them and requesting it. i did. they
said not enough requests... ;-(

try http://www.towerhobbies.com for cheap stuff. try picking up a copy of various mags.
one is just chock full of ads. there are sooo many mods for the t-maxx right now. i just
read one that took out the reverse unit and made a direct drive forward gear only unit.
it seems that the tmaxx made nitro powered off road vehicles fun for the masses...
